A prolific and mercurial sorceress, Sona created the moon and conveys the ever-changing tides. Tales say that Ogrus asked Sona to create a palace as opulent as the sun, but her magic could only create a pale reflection of it. She is invoked when arcane magic is used or studied, and her blessings include magical aptitude (particularly through natural ability).
Although she is a fickle and mischievous deity, worship of her is pervasive throughout Jemmora, and particularly in Kirinjo. Her worshipers include those who use magic or trickery for their work, such as alchemists and performers.
Sona’s priests wear blue and violet robes, and can count sorcerers and bards among their numbers. Their goal is simple: that magic be preserved and spread throughout Jemmora. Her symbol is a silver crescent moon set before a cresting wave.
