Queen of the Solar Palace and ruler of the pantheon, Koore brings light to the world of Jemmora. Her shrines and temples can be found all across the world. Priests of Koore are adorned with black feathery robes, white collars, and gold jewelry.
As a sun goddess, Koore is an important figure in the daily lives of most mortals. Rituals asking her for pleasant weather and her blessing over life events are commonplace.
The Sun Mother serves another role: she judges souls before they pass into the afterlife. Souls that are deemed worthy pass on – while those deemed unworthy are seared by her divine light. This fate is the reason why unscrupulous mortals make deals with fiends – to avoid oblivion.
Koore holds dominion over the Solar Palace and conveys it across the sky each day. When she appears to mortals, her form is that of a great, regal vulture. Her symbol is a golden disc, inlaid with an ebony vulture.
