Taflir the Adventurer

An odd god, Taflir is the patron of heroism and adventure, especially against overwhelming odds. As such, he is favored by mortals, and is a champion of them in return. This has earned him the ire of much of the pantheon, as it instills hope that mortals could rise above the punishments of the gods.

Of all the gods, Taflir is mostly likely to appear to mortals and grant them aid. When he does, he takes the form of a tiny fiddler crab.

Because of his nature, worship of Taflir is usually done in secret, though less so in rural or secluded areas. His priests do not wear any special vestments in public, but bear a simple blue sash fastened with a brass crab claw in private. His holy symbol is a fiddler crab’s claw.
